Hundreds of items that belonged to the late James Brown are set to be auctioned off next month, when Christie�??s auction house puts them up for sale.
Among the items to be sold in the auction are a leather belt with the words �??Sex Machine�?? �??We Love You James, Blue Express�??, handwritten lyrics and the Grammy he won in 1986 for �??Living In America�??.
Jumpsuits worn by the soul legend will also go under the hammer on July 17, as will his Yamaha baby grand piano and his Hammond B-3 electric organ with Leslie speakers.
Photographs and letters from Presidents Reagan and Bush are in the catalogue, as are hair rollers and a dome hair dryer from the salon in Brown's South Carolina home, reports the Associated Press.
Brown died on Christmas Day in 2006 aged 73.
As previously reported, his former partner Tomi Rae Hynie was recently ordered by a judge to have a DNA test carried out on the boy she claims to be the late singer's son.
